Lal Dwara Haridwar

Lal Dwara Haridwar is a beautiful temple of Shri Bawa Lal ji, situated on the banks of river Ganga in the divine atmosphere of Haridwar. It was inaugurated by His Divine holiness Shri Ram Sundar Das Ji Maharaj on 30 March, 2010.

Jagatguru Shri Bawa Lal ji, during his stay in Saharanpur used to go to Haridwar for taking bath in the holy river Ganga. River Ganga looking at the Lord Shri Bawa Lal ji’s daily visit to Haridwar manifested in Saharanpur in the form of stream which is also known as ‘Paon Dhoi Ganga’. His Divine Holiness Shri Ram Sundar Das ji Maharaj in the remembrance of Shri Bawa Lal ji’s  visit to Haridwar created a beautiful Lal Dwara in khas Mandi, Phari Bazar, Khankhal Uttranchal which is only 1.5 km away from ‘Har ki Paudi‘.

The temple has a beautiful location, since it is situated on the banks of holy river Ganga, it has its own ghat within Lal Dwara Haridwar from where one can have the experience of the divine and serene environment of holy river Ganga and also the darshan of Mansa devi and Chamunda devi which are clearly visible from the temple’s ghat.

Lal Dwara has also constructed a beautiful 30 room ashram adjacent to the temple for the devotees during their stay in Haridwar. It also has a one spacious satsang hall, a kitchen and a prasadam hall. The ashram provides free stay as well as food facilities for all the devotees.
